Link state Anomaly detection for Social Networks
Abstract
The rapid growth of technology plays important role in the day to day life of human beings. Human beings make the maximum use of social networking to communicate and interact with each other. Hence, the rapid growth of social networking resulted in the interest to detect and discover the emerging topic. The information exchanged between the users in social networking involves not only text messages but also URLs, videos, audios etc. So the conventional frequency based approaches may not be appropriate to use in this context. The focus is on the emergence of topics by the social aspects of the network such as the mentions of users – links generated dynamically between users depending on the replies, mentions and re-tweets. A probability model is proposed based on the mentioning behavior of the social network user, and the emergence of new topic is detected from the anomalies measured through the model. By aggregating the anomaly scores from hundreds of users, it is possible to detect the emerging topic only based on the reply/mention relationships in social-network posts.

Abu El-Khair Corpus: A Modern Standard Arabic Corpus
Abstract
Language Corpus is a collection of texts written in a single language, or more than one. It is col-lected, stored, and processed, automatically in an orderly fashion on computers according to its usage and purpose. Language corpus is one of the most important sources in the field of infor-mation retrieval, natural language processing, as well as computational linguistics. Building cor-pora is a common and familiar task in these areas of research for years. Corpora size have in-creased dramatically in recent years; because of the rapid developments in the technology used in their construction. This study is an attempt to build a contemporary linguistic corpus for Arabic language. The corpus produced, is a text corpus includes more than five million newspaper arti-cles. It contains over a billion and a half words in total, out of which, there is about three million unique words. The data were collected from newspaper articles in ten major news sources from eight Arabic countries, over a period of fourteen years. The corpus was encoded with two types of encoding, namely: UTF-8, and Windows CP-1256. Also it was marked with two mark-up lan-guages, namely: SGML, and XML

Load frequency control of a two-area hydro-hydro system using SMES-SMES, TCPS-SMES and SSSC-SMES controllers in automatic generation control.
Abstract
This paper presents the automatic generation control (AGC) of an interconnected two-area multiple-unit hydro-hydro systems. The system frequency in an inter connected power system may be severely disturbed when it is subjected to load disturbances with changing frequency in the vicinity of the inter area oscillation mode. The load disturbances can be compensated and the area frequency oscillations can be stabilized by the dynamic power flow control of static series compensator(SSSC) or Thyristor Controlled Phase Shifters in coordination with superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES).Gains of the integral controllers and parameters of SSSC,TCPS and SMES are optimized with particle swarm optimization (PSO).

Resistance to Organizational Change
Abstract
Organizations are inherently dynamic; they are born, they grow, expand, and eventually die and/or rejuvenate in new forms. All these processes are possible because of changes that organizations undergo. Thus, change is an instrumental and adaptive feature of any organization. However, evidence from the existing literature and practical observation has shown that change is always countered by resistance from all quarters. This paper provides a conceptual analysis of resistance towards change and how conformity can otherwise be enhanced during the process.

A Relevant Approach for Image Retrieval Based On Interactive Genetic Algorithm Using Feature Descriptors
Abstract
— Due to the rapidly growing amount of digital image data on the Internet, the development of CBIR system has become an important research issue, to effectively retrieve the desired images from a large image database. This system helps the user to retrieve relevant images. Three visual features, color, texture, and edge, of an image are utilized in our approach. Color attributes like the mean value, the standard deviation, and the image bitmap of a color image are used. The entropy based on the gray level co-occurrence matrix is used as the texture feature. And the edge histogram of an image is also considered. A user-oriented mechanism for CBIR method based on an interactive genetic algorithm (IGA) is proposed. To reduce the gap between the retrieval results and the users’ expectation, the IGA is employed to help the users to identify the images that are most satisfied to the users’ need. Texture content information is extracted from the gray-tone image and entropy of LTP image is used as new feature. Using these features and genetic algorithm, the more relevant images can be retrieved.

A Comprehensive Study of Encryption for group data sharing via cloud storage
Abstract
Data sharing is an important functionality in cloud storage. In this project, we show how to securely, efficiently, and flexibly share data with others in cloud storage. We describe new public-key cryptosystems which produce constant-size cipher texts such that efficient delegation of decryption rights for any set of cipher texts are possible. The novelty is that one can aggregate any set of secret keys and make them as compact as a single key, but encompassing the power of all the keys being aggregated. In other words, the secret key holder can release a constant-size aggregate key for flexible choices of cipher text set in cloud storage, but the other encrypted files outside the set remain confidential. This compact aggregate key can be conveniently sent to others or be stored in a smart card with very limited secure storage. We provide formal security analysis of our schemes in the standard model. We also describe other application of our schemes. In particular, our schemes give the first public-key patient-controlled encryption for flexible hierarchy, which was yet to be known.

REVELATION OF AUDIO AND TEXTUAL USING MULTICASTING TECHNIQUE
Abstract
In early stages the announcement is done by wired technologies and now it is replaced by Wi-Fi, Zigbee, GSM etc., In this paper RF is used to transmit data in order to increase the distance of transmission. Generally RF is used for audio transmission with wired receiver ends; we overcome the wired receiver end by wireless and included serial textual data transfer. The major concept of this project is that it is secured wireless communication. Transmitter encodes the message before sending it which couldn’t decode easily by any receiver. But the receiver side of the audio signal transmission is uncontrollable. This disadvantage is overcome by implementing a controller in the receiver side of audio signal. The replacement of GSM and Other mobile services is overcome by RF which is used for transmission of the data without any tariff.

LEAKAGE POWER REDUCTION IN CMOS CIRCUITS USING LEAKAGE CONTROL TRANSISTOR TECHNIQUE IN NANOSCALE TECHNOLOGY
Abstract
In this paper, we propose a leakage reduction technique. Because high leakage currents in deep submicron regimes are becoming a major contributor to total power dissipation of CMOS circuits. Sub threshold leakage current plays a very important role in power dissipation. So to reduce the sub threshold leakage current we proposed an adaptive voltage level (AVL) technique. Which optimize the overall voltage across the half subtractor circuit in active mode. In this AVL technique, Two schemes are employed, one is AVLS (adaptive voltage level at supply) in which the supply voltage is reduced and the other is AVLG (adaptive voltage level at ground) in which the ground potential is increased. By applying this technique we have reduced the leakage current from 9.274pa to 5.428. That means this technique the leakage current 41.4% .the circuit is simulated on cadence virtuoso in 45nm CMOS technology. Simulation results revealed that there is a significant reduction in leakage current for this proposed cell with the AVL circuit reducing the supply voltage

Energy Efficient Protocol In Wireless Sensor Network
Abstract
Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), also known as sensor and actuator networks (WSAN) typically consists of large number of low-cost and low-power wireless sensors. Sensors measure and monitor ambient conditions in surrounding environment such as heat, pressure, etc. Energy Efficient is very important in WSN Routing protocols Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy with Deterministic
Cluster-Head Selection (LEACH), Improved Energy Efficient PEGASIS Based Protocol (IEEPB), Distributed Energy Efficient Clustering(DEEC),Stable Election Protocol (SEP) are not sufficient to overcome the energy dissipation of sensors so Mobile Sink based Adaptive Immune Energy-Efficient Clustering Protocol (MSIEEP) is implemented to maximize network lifetime. Energy hole problem is critical issue for data gathering in WSN. MSIEEP uses AIA (Adaptive Immune Algorithm) is used to find
the optimum number of Cluster Heads(CHs) to improve the lifetime and stability period of the network. Performance of MSIEEP is compared to various protocol to deliver Packets to destination.

THE EFFECTS OF HEIGHT AND WIDTH IN LOOP CHARACTERISTICS ANALYSIS USING FINITE ELEMENT METHOD
Abstract
Desirable tooth movements need optimal force systems. Loops are employed to move teeth properly. Different loops are used frequently due to its ease of fabrication and mechanical advantage. The aim of this study is to assess the expected forces and moments when a definite length of wire is bent to form different shapes of loops. In other words, the effect of loop height and width on the produced force and moment is evaluated by the finite element method (FEM). Analysis of force, moment and moment force ratio’s for various orthodontic loops under various design parameters (width, height, and shape) using finite element analysis is carried out and results are tabulated. Due to the regularity of the orthodontic loops, one-dimensional modeling is used which is more accurate and simple. The accuracy of the one-dimensional element is more due to consideration of complete geometrical properties like area, the moment of inertia. These values will be approximated when a two dimensional or three dimensional straight sided elements are used. Beam188, an element suitable for calculation of bending and stresses is used for analysis. In the present work, change in material has effect of increasing the stress and force but has no effect on M/F ratio. Similarly, the increase in the width of loop has a marginal effect on change in the M/F ratio. Compared all these, the type of loop has more effect of M/F ratio. All the results for these conclusions are shown in the report.

Proteogenomics Characterization of Esophageal carcinoma- A Review
Abstract
Proteogenomics is an area of research at the interface of proteomics and genomics. In this approach, we propose for customized protein sequence database generated using genomic and transcriptomics information and hence used to help identify novel peptides (not present in reference protein sequence databases) from mass spectrometry based proteomic data. In turn, the proteomic data are used to provide protein-level evidence of gene expression and to help refine gene models. In recent years, owing to the emergence of new sequencing technologies such as RNA-seq and dramatic improvements in the depth and throughput of mass spectrometry–based proteomics, the pace of Proteogenomics research has greatly accelerated. The delay in detection of esophageal cancer can be countered using this Proteogenomics approach by discovering the novel gene & tracking it back to genome. This report outlines various bioinformatics tools used to discover, verify and validate novel peptides. . It also involves an extensive literature survey used in determining the most compatible tools and the various strategies that could be used in Proteogenomics study

VERTICAL TAKEOFF AND LANDING (VTOL) AIRCRAFT USING TILT ROTOR MECHANISM
Abstract
A multi-rotor is aircraft which generates lift and propulsion by way of one or more powered rotors mounted on rotating engine pods usually at the ends of a fixed wing which drive the shafts transferring power to rotor assemblies mounted on the wingtips. It combines the vertical lift capability of a helicopter with the speed and range of a conventional fixed-wing aircraft. For vertical flight, the rotors are angled so the plane of rotation is horizontal, lifting the way a helicopter rotor does. As the aircraft gains speed, the rotors are progressively tilted forward, with the plane of rotation eventually becoming vertical. In this mode, the wing provides the lift, and the rotor provides thrust as a propeller.

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF TAG BIT BASED LOW POWER CACHE MEMORY
Abstract
A new cache design technique, referred to as early tag access (ETA) cache is proposed to improve the energy efficiency of data caches in embedded processors. The proposed technique performs ETAs to determine the destination ways of memory instructions before the actual cache accesses. It, thus, enables only the destination way to be accessed if a hit occurs during the ETA. The proposed ETA cache can be configured under two operation modes to exploit the tradeoffs between energy efficiency and performance. It is shown that our technique is very effective in reducing the number of ways accessed during cache accesses. This enables significant energy reduction with negligible performance overheads.

A Study on effectiveness of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MNREGS)
Abstract
A national anti-poverty program has been introduced in India in September 2005, which is also known as Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. The program offers up to 100 days of unskilled manual labor per year on public works projects for any rural household member who wants such work at the stipulated minimum wage rate. The objective of the program is to eradicate poverty by providing extra income for poor families, as well as empowering and insuring them. The program is designed in such a manner that anyone who wanted to work on the scheme would get it. However, analysis of data from India‘s National Sample Survey for 2009-10, there is a huge gap between demand and expectations for work in all states. The expectations of poorer families tend to have more demand for work on the scheme, and it is more relevant that the advantages of the scheme should reach to relatively poor families and backward castes. The extent of the un-met demand is greater in the poorest states, ironically where the scheme is needed most. The scheme is attracting poor women into the workforce, although the local-level rationing processes favor men.

A SURVEY ON: WOMEN IN AGRICULTURE SECTOR IN RURAL AREA
Abstract
Agriculture can be an important engine for growth and poverty reduction. India is developing country. The main occupation is agriculture, because 70 per cent of the population is involved in this occupation. Many women in developing countries are occupied in agriculture. Women play a significant role in agriculture. Women are the backbone of the development of rural and national economies. This paper says that agriculture creates many jobs for women in agriculture sector. Jobs that bring many household resources under women control leads to greater earnings in the family. With the help of agriculture women support financial to their family. Although, women are more than ever finally employed, differences in wages earned by women and men persist in all countries. Women also have less access to productive resources especially in developing countries. That woman, especially rural women, should - in addition to agricultural activities - be responsible for cooking, carrying water and fetching firewood, limiting their participation in decision-making processes and their exposure to those economic opportunities that arise, thus increasing the level of inequality vis-à-vis their partners. Due to these reasons and women’s lower education level compel the women have a greater tendency to remain in subsistence agriculture. Women spend a substantial part of their time not only in various activities directly related to agriculture but also in the management of livestock, poultry, etc. However, the true picture of female work and their contribution to family expenditure is usually not clearly presented. Many economically productive activities performed by women go unrecorded as such or are subsumed within ‘domestic work’.

MOBILE SOCIAL NETWORKING IN LIBRARIES AND SECURITY
Abstract
Social networking sites are profile based websites that allow users to maintain social relationships by viewing, visiting, and sharing their lists of social connections with other members. These sites can be used to build community-based personal websites, online discussions forums, chat rooms and other social spaces accessible to users for exchange of personal content and communication. Socialnetworking is possibly the most important, but, being open and social creates legitimate (legal) concerns about privacy and safety. Social networking once began in the online space, but it has rapidly spread to mobile platforms. Currently, consumption of mobile internet usage is being driven by mobile social networking. Mobile social networking is social networking where individuals with similar interests converse and connect with one another through their mobile phone and/or tablet. Safety issues (including security, privacy, and trust) in mobile social networks are concerned about the condition of being protected against different types of failure, damage, error, accidents, harm or any other non-desirable event, while mobile carriers contact each other in mobile environments.

Social media: Changing employee recruitment
Abstract
Social media is the new buzz area in marketing that has businesses, organizations and brands jumping to create news; make friends, connections and followers; and build communities in the virtual space. Social media are media for social interaction, using highly accessible and scalable communication techniques. Social media is the use of web-based and mobile technologies to turn communication into interactive dialogue. Electronic recruitment (e-recruitment) systems are used to facilitate and improve human resource management. They address the needs of employers and job-seekers via internetworking means which increase the speed of employment, and improve the quality of recruitment and services.
The purpose of the paper is to discuss the pre-hire measures of the quantity and quality of applicants, with a specific focus on e-recruitment. In this paper we describe how recruitment process takes place through social media.
Social media now stands as the second most prevalent source of hire, tied with corporate career websites. The role of social media doesn’t stop at hiring, however it also has a role in helping people begin a new job and in internal communications, keeping individuals engaged once recruited. The paper concludes with instead of relying heavily on external recruitment firms or job boards, many companies are focusing on locating specialized talent through Social Media sites such as LinkedIn.
Employers are using sites such as LinkedIn to identify talent, but some are also attracting talent through targeted and innovative social media campaigns to engage and challenge candidates and find the right fit for the organization.

Role of Government in Empowering Rural Women Entrepreneurship
Abstract
Rural Entrepreneurship is that entrepreneurship which ensures value addition to rural resources in rural areas engaging largely rural human resources. Rural development is more than ever before linked to entrepreneurship. Institutions and individuals promoting rural development now see entrepreneurship as a strategic development intervention that could accelerate the rural development process. Furthermore, institutions and individuals seem to agree on the urgent need to promote rural enterprises: development agencies see rural entrepreneurship as an enormous employment potential; politicians see it as the key strategy to prevent rural unrest; farmers see it as an instrument for improving farm earnings; and women see it as an employment possibility near their homes which provides autonomy, independence and a reduced need for social support. To all these groups, however, entrepreneurship stands as a vehicle to improve the quality of life for individuals, families and communities and to sustain a healthy economy and environment.
There are also several other schemes of the government like the Income Generating Scheme, implemented by the Department of Women and Child Development, which provides assistance for setting up training-cum-income generating activities for needy women to make them economically independent. The Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) has been implementing two special schemes for women namely Mahila Udyam Nidhi which is an exclusive scheme for providing equity to women entrepreneurs and the Mahila Vikas Nidhi which offers developmental assistance for pursuit of income generating activities to women. The SIDBI has also taken initiative to set up an informal channel for credit needs on soft terms giving special emphasis to women. Over and above this, SIDBI also provides training for credit utilisation as also credit delivery skills for the executives of voluntary organizations working for women. Grant for setting up a production unit is also available under Socio-Economic Programme of Central Social Welfare Board

RURAL EMPLOYMENT
Abstract
Gandhi ji said, ‘‘If villages prosper the country will prosper, if villages sink
the country will sink’’. Keeping this in view, the Indian State has initiated a number of development measures for all round development of India. Poverty and unemployment are two major problems India faces. India is the second-largest country in the world as measured by population, with about 1.2 billion people. It is also an emerging economic power, with a strong growth record spreading over the last twenty years. In terms of size, India is the tenth- or fourth largest economy in the world, depending on whether market exchange rates or purchasing power parity rates are used to translate local currency to dollars. In the contemporary scenario where our nation is set to emerge as one of the world’s most thriving and promising economy .it is imperative that rural India take the centre stage and to do so ministry of rural development has relentlessly been working on this and pioneered various flagship programmes like GGD-UKY, SPMRM.

Female Employment in Agriculture
Abstract
: Women play a significant and crucial role in agricultural development and allied fields including in the main crop production, livestock production, horticulture, post harvest operations, agro/ social forestry, fisheries, etc. is a fact long taken for granted but also long ignored. The nature and extent of women’s involvement in agriculture, no doubt, varies greatly from region to region. Even within a region, their involvement varies widely among different ecological sub-zones, farming systems, castes, classes and stages in the family cycle. But regardless of these variations, there is hardly any activity in agricultural production, except ploughing in which women are not actively involved. In some of the farm activities like processing and storage, women predominate so strongly that men workers are numerically insignificant. The article includes various measures taken by the government for upliftment of women in Agricultural Sector.

Prospects and Problems of Women Entrepreneurs
Abstract
Entrepreneurs play a vital role in the economic development of a country. In a developing state like Chhattisgarh where the female population is almost 49% with literacy 60.24% (Census 2011), their contribution in economic development cannot be ignored. The role of women is expanding day by day from a home maker to working women to an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship provides the most powerful economically empowering avenue for women, for the community and the nation. In India , as per Business Report 2014 and survey conducted by IFC, women-owned enterprises contribute 3.09% of industrial output and employ over 8 million people. Government has initiated many schemes and programmes for supporting and enhancing women entrepreneurship yet their visibility is marginal. One of the objective of Chhattisgarh Industrial policy 2014-19 is to provide relatively more economic benefits to the weaker sections of society such as Schedule Cast/Schedule Tribes, Disabled, Retired Soldiers and Naxalism affected families and Women Entrepreneurs to bring them in the main stream of Industrial Development.
Several studies around the world have been carried out which throw light on the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs. Though the three major stages in the entrepreneurial process – of creating, nurturing and nourishing – are the same for men and women, there are however, in practice, problems faced by women which are of different dimensions and magnitudes, owing to social and cultural reasons. The gender discrimination that often prevails at all levels in many societies impact the sphere of women in industry too, and a cumulative effect of psychological, social, economic and educational factors act as impediments to women entrepreneurs entering the mainstream.
This research will focus on the different prospects from the government end and the “constraints” of women entrepreneurs in various “critical needs” areas.

Education and Women Entrepreneurs Empowerment in India
Abstract
Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. Information and communications are closely linked to power and the ability to affect change. ICT is an umbrella term that includes any communication device. ICTs are emerging as a powerful tool for women empowerment in a developing country like India. Women education in India has also been a major preoccupation of both the government and civil society as educated women can play a very important role in the development of the country. Education is milestone of women empowerment because it enables them to responds to the challenges, to confront their traditional role and change their life. The growth of women’s education in rural areas is very slow. This obviously means that still large womenfolk of our country are illiterate, the weak, backward and exploited. Education of women in the is the most powerful tool of change of position in society. Education also brings a reduction in inequalities and functions as a means of improving their status within the family. Women’s economic empowerment is a prerequisite for sustainable development and pro-poor growth. Achieving women’s economic empowerment requires sound public policies, a holistic approach and long-term commitment and gender-specific perspectives must be integrated at the design stage of policy and programming. The present paper explores the role of education in women empowerment and the status of women education in India. It shows that the education is most important part in the life of every woman.

Abstract
Goals can easily be set, but achievement has been a great problem. The Millennium growths (MGs) are eight goals .That corresponds to the world’s main development challenges which are meant to improve people’s lives. The attainment of MGs has been a serious concern all over the world. This study looks into how empowerment of women mathematically could serve as a required tool to the attainment of the goals. The importance of mathematics as a tool for science and technology is continually increasing. While science and technology have become so pervasive, mathematics education has continued to dominate the school curriculum and remains a key subject area requirement in higher education and employment sector. The main part of the paper is devoted to distinguishing three different but complementary meanings of empowerment concerning mathematics: mathematical, social and epistemological empowerment. Mathematical empowerment concerns gaining the power to use mathematical knowledge and skills in school mathematics. Social empowerment is the ability to use mathematics for social betterment. Epistemological empowerment means confidence and personal power over the use, creation and validation of knowledge. After analyzing what these three interpretations of empowerment mean. The paper considers: the concept of women empowerment, mathematics and women empowerment, how women can be empowered mathematically, mathematics, women empowerment and the attainment of the Millennium Growths (MGs). Conclusion was reached.

ROLE OF EDUCATION IN WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Abstract
: To raise the pride of any family society and country the mothers especially the educated women always had an important place. Once Prime Minister Abraham Lincoln said “whatever I am and whatever i want to be, for that i am thankful to my mother. Similarly the great soldier Napoleon also said “the future of a child is always made by her mother” so keeping in front the countries social, political, economical and family conditions, it is necessary to make proper arrangements for women education. Education is one such source which gives us self confidence; it helps us to be aware of our rights and also helps one person to be self sufficient and independent. Educated women after knowing her rights become capable of developing her personality and she also plays a vital role in the development of her family society and nation.

SOCIO-ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT OF TRIBAL WOMEN IN INDIA: A DEVEPOPMENT PERSPECTIVE
Abstract
“Women perform 66 percent of the world’s work, and produce 50 percent of the food, yet earn only 10 percent of the income and own 1 percent of the property. Whether the issue is improving education in the developing world, or fighting global climate change, or addressing nearly any other challenge we face, empowering women is a critical part of the equation”.
Former President Bill Clinton addressing the annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative (September 2009)
This paper has been written on the basis of qualitative and quantitative data collected from secondary source and discussed socio-economic empowerment of tribal women in india in a descriptive manner. The tribal population is an integral part of India’s social fabric and has the second largest concentration after that of the African continent. It is more than the total population of France and Britain and four times that of Australia. The tribal women have been equal partners with tribal men in the contribution to household economy. Quite often their women do more physical labour in their agricultural fields and forest than that of the tribal men. Tribal women have usually enjoyed a higher social status in their own communities than Indian women in general. Some of the tribes like Khasi in Mizoram and Meghalaya are matriarchal. However, the literacy rate among the tribal’s and more so in case of tribal women is quite low and this is also associated with poor nutritional and health status among the tribal’s. The estimate of poverty made by Planning Commission for the year 1993-94 shows that 51.92 percent rural and 41.4 percent urban Scheduled Tribes were still living below the poverty line. They are engaged in various occupations like hunting shifting cultivation to settled agriculture and rural crafts. A very negligible percent are engaged in non-agricultural activities. The Scheduled Tribes constitute 8.2% of India’s total population. In all there are 700 Scheduled Tribes in India. States of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Orissa all together have about 40% of the total tribal population of the country.

WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP
Abstract
According to the World Economic Forum's Gender Gap Index (2014), India ranks 15th out of 142 countries in regards to women's political empowerment. In the world's largest democracy, women still hold a mere 11.9% of seats in India's Parliament.
Yet at the same time, the struggle to enact the Women’s Reservation Bill, which would allot 33% of seats in state legislatures and parliament for women, continues. As of today, the passage of this bill is close to becoming a reality. Although women politicians will continue to face different barriers and certain disadvantages before and after taking political office, it is imperative that they are able to receive sufficient training and knowledge with which to prepare them for greater political involvement.
Women who aspire towards becoming effective politicians in India must acquire specialised knowledge and experience in order to win elections and pursue inclusive policies at the local, state and national levels. The India-Women in Leadership (i-WIL) programme provides women with the knowledge, skills and tools essential for becoming a leader in India’s shifting political landscape.

Analytical study on Need for Planning and Designing of ICT for Rural Women Development
Abstract
India is a emerging nation. The tremendous economical and technological progress in last few decades, make India a remarkable nation. Nevertheless, its benefits seldom reached women. Access and control over technology up till now remained male domain. ICT possesses a huge possibility to develop the women of less fortunate areas of the country where they are deprived of the very basic facilities like education. Of course ICT can contribute to rural women development but only when it is used in right way for right purpose and under correct guidance. Also efforts will always be required to make up the reforms in the schemes. Like all the other computer technologies ICT can provide a better platform for the development but certainly cannot offer a perfect solution to all the problems.
Thus, ICT can definitely become an enabling tool for wider socio-economic development. If used correctly it can surely help the women to take the advantage of the development programs meant for them and looking at the current statues of internet users and the availability of the communication facilities in the rural areas there is still a long way to go. In this paper we are going to have an analytical study on need for planning and designing of Information and Communication Technology for the development of rural women.

GENDER BUDGETING IN GENDER MAINSTREAMING
Abstract
Women who constitutes half of the population, are generally not treated as equal with men in the matter of self development although their betterment and wellbeing are crucial to the progress, prosperity and peaceful existence of mankind Development is meant to widen opportunities for all people .Continuing exclusion of women from many opportunities for all people life substantially negates the process of development Mainstreaming has been widely adopted as a strategy for attaining the goal of gender equality. In the 1970s and 1980s,advocates of women development talked of integrating women into development talked, in the 1990s the emphasis changed to the institutionalization of gender issues in the development policy and planning (Goetz,1995).Mainstreaming gender is a technical, as well as a social and political process. It requires changes at different levels such as in agenda setting, policy making, planning, budgeting practices, and resource allocations. Gender mainstreaming in programme budget process brings gender perspective explicitly to the fore by making it an integral part of planning and decision making –making processes. The Fourth World Conference held in Beijing in September 1995 and the subsequent platform for Action emphasized a gender perspective in all macro-economic policies. The twenty-third special session of the General Assembly in June 2000 also explicitly in budgetary processes at national, regional and international levels. The outcome document of the UN General Assembly urged all the nations to integrate a gender perspective into key macro-economic and social development policies. The sixth conference of Common wealth Ministers of Women‘s Affairs held in New Delhi in April, 2000 also made similar recommendations (Sharma 2008). “The realization and the achievement of the goals of gender equality, development and peace need to be supported by the allocation of necessary human ,financial and material resources for the specific and targeted activities to ensure gender equality at the local ,national ,regional and international levels is essential “ (Twenty – third Special Session of the General Assembly to follow up implementation of the platform for Action, June 2000(A/S-23/10/REV.1)

A STUDY ON THE ROLE PLAYED BY WOMEN IN AGRICULTURE SECTOR IN INDIA
Abstract
"When women are empowered and can claim their rights and access to land, leadership, opportunities and choices, economies grow, food security is enhanced and prospects are improved for current and future generations", Michelle Bachelet - Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN Women
Agriculture is the spine of the Indian Economy as over 70% of rural family depends on agriculture as their primary means of livelihood. Gradually, it has been realized that rural women play a vital role in agricultural development as their essential involvement in the field of agriculture, food security, horticulture, processing, nutrition, sericulture, fisheries, and other allied sectors, but regardless of women's far-reaching and stippled contribution in agriculture, they carry on to have less admittance than do men to modern agricultural inputs. As a consequence, their farm work is labor intensive and yields meager economic returns. Their contribution does not receive due recognition. The overall Share of Agriculture & Allied Sectors (Including agriculture, livestock, and forestry and fishery sub sectors) in terms of percentage of GDP was 13.9 percent during 2013-14. A CONCEPTUAL STUDY ON WOMEN EMPOWERMENT THROUGH MICROFINANCE
Abstract
Albert Einstein once said, “The significant problems we face cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them”. He might not have been talking about women’s empowerment, but the quote is just as relevant in explaining the strict interpretation of women’s empowerment. The unique feature of microfinance programme is that it focuses on women for development. The basic idea is to empower women by providing them financial assistance and allowing them to earn an independent income, contribute financially to their households and generate self-employment. This economic independence is expected to generate increased self-respect, self-esteem, self-confidence and other forms of empowerment for women participants of the programme. The process of empowerment of the beneficiaries of the programme is not automatic, but depends upon many factors. These factors may be abilities, environment, initiative and status of women as group. There is no dearth of studies which show that with the help of microfinance the status of a woman improves in the family; she earns greater respect in the family than before; she participates in the decision-making and community meetings; and she gets freedom to move for the betterment of the micro-business. It may be due to the fact that women become able to contribute financially to the family. In fact, microfinance programme increases economic, social, and political empowerment. Microfinance programme may be an important programme but not a panacea to end all the problems that poor face. Hence, the programme beneficiaries must efficiently use the financial support to start small businesses that will help in uplifting standard of life and empowerment of women.

A REVIEW ON THE ROLE OF COMMERCIAL BANKS IN THE FINANCIAL INCLUSION PROGRAMME OF INDIA
Abstract
Commercial banks play a major role in the economic development of a country like India. The level of financial education is low in developing countries. This will result that a sizeable section of the population, particularly the vulnerable groups, deprived and weaker sections and low income groups will remain excluded from the financial system and are not availing even the most basic facilities and services provided by the financial sector. The aim of financial inclusion is delivery of banking and financial services in a fair, translucent and impartial manner at reasonable cost to the vast sections of disadvantaged and low income group. Now-a-days, however, financial inclusion is seen to be something more than opening bank branches in unbanked areas to take formal financial services across the length and breadth of the country. The fundamental objective of all these initiatives is to reach the large sections of the financially excluded Indian population. . The Government of India and the Reserve Bank of India have been making continuous efforts like the recent “Jan Dhan Yojana” announced in August, 2014 to promote financial inclusion as one of the important national objectives of the country.

Abstract—AC and DCMicrogrids (MGs) are key elements for integrating renewable and distributed energy resources as well as distributed energy-storage systems. In the last several years, efforts toward the standardization of these MGs have been made. In this sense, this paper presents the hierarchical control de- rived from ISA-95 and electrical dispatching standards to endow smartness and flexibility to MGs. The hierarchical control pro- posed consists of three levels: 1) The primary control is based on the droop method, including an output-impedance virtual loop; 2) the secondary control allows the restoration of the deviations produced by the primary control; and 3) the tertiary control manages the power flow between the MG and the external electrical distribution system. Results from a hierarchical-controlled MG are provided to show the feasibility of the proposed approach.

A REVIEW ON MAXIMUM POWER POINT TRACKER FOR DFIG BASED WIND ENERGY CONVERSION SYSTEM
Abstract
A proper control technique to wind energy conversion system is aimed and proposed in this paper. This is done by adapting a new method of fuzzy control for fluctuating wind velocities. The wind turbine is coupled with DFIG. This controlling method will track the maximum power by the TSR (Tip speed ratio). According to optimum rotor speed the wind is calculated and the comparison is made with its TSR value. The inputs are given to fuzzy logic controller and the output from the controller will adjust the duty cycle of the power converters, so that the max power is obtained in WECS. The TSR value comparison is done by the New Intelligence and effecting algorithm called fruit fly optimization algorithm. The simulation and evaluation under different wind conditions with the proposed controller is done by using MATLAB/SIMULATION software.

PRIVACY-PRESERVING PUBLIC AUDITING PROTOCOL IN CLOUD STORAGE SECURITY USING FRACTAL HASH TREE
Abstract
Security and privacy is the major concern in the large volume of the data centers and Cloud storage. In cloud computing store the all data remotely and enjoy on demand services. Cloud provide one vital service that is known as the Storage as a Service (SaaS). However, the fact that users no longer have physical ownership of the outsourced data makes the data integrity protection in cloud computing a redoubtable task, especially for users with constrained computing property. Moreover, users should be capable to just use the cloud storage as if it is local, without worrying about the need to verify its integrity. Cloud data storage supports the data dynamics, its also supports the various types of data operations such as block modification, data insertion, deletion, updation etc. While cloud supports these types of activity, simultaneously its precious by the data integrity issues. So this paper proposed fractal tree construction for block tag authentication and privacy preserving public auditing protocol. Proposed algorithm compared with existing one. Proposed work improves confidentiality and Integrity compared to existing work.

An Effective Firewall Framework with optimized cost in Cloud Computing
Abstract
Cloud computing is a new flexible approach for providing higher computational power in shared medium. It is made up of client, application, platform, servers and infrastructures. To provide security a decentralized cloud firewall framework is used. The cloud firewall is offered by Cloud Service Providers (CSP) and placed at access points between cloud data center and the Internet. Concretely, cloud platform is under numerous attacks. As a result, it is definitely expected to establish a firewall to protect cloud from these attacks. However, setting up a centralized firewall for a whole cloud data center is infeasible from both performance and financial aspects. In this paper, we propose a decentralized cloud firewall framework for individual cloud customers. We investigate how to dynamically allocate resources to optimize resources provisioning cost, while satisfying QoS requirement specified by individual customers simultaneously. A pricing model for the cloud firewall, which helps to achieve a financial balance between provider and customer.

Relay Based Cooperation for Cognitive Radio Networks: A Survey
Abstract
Spectrum allocation has been traditionally done in a licensed fashion. But observations of spectrum usage suggest that most bands are underutilized. Cognitive radio (CR), broadly defined as an intelligent radio which can adapt based its context, has come up as a means for opportunistic (secondary) usage of spectrum. Cognitive radios are required to sense the spectrum for availability of holes and to communicate in the sensed holes without interfering with the licensed primary users of the bands. According to the network architecture, cognitive radio networks can be classified as infrastructure-based and ad-hoc networks. The infrastructure based networks rely on base-station like controller/arbiters. These arbiters collect the sensing information and decide on the band for secondary communication. The ad-hoc network does not have any infrastructure backbone. So each user needs to have all CR capabilities and is responsible for determining its actions based on the local observation. One of the most important challenges for cognitive radio systems is to identify the presence of primary (licensed) users over a wide range of spectrum at a particular time and specific geographic location. The use of cooperative spectrum sensing in cognitive radio systems is considered to enhance the reliability of detecting primary users. With multihop relay the coverage, throughput and system capacity can be enhanced.

GROUP NEAREST QUERY SEARCH IN MULTI-DIMENSIONAL SPATIAL DATA
Abstract
Advanced Multi-dimensional based search query in text-rich multi-dimensional datasets facilitates many novel applications and tools. In this ork, we consider objects that are tagged with keywords and are embedded in a vector space. For these datasets, queries that ask for the tightest groups of points satisfying a given set of keywords. The proposed novel method called Projection and Multi Scale Hashing which uses projection and hash-based index structures which achieves high scalability and speedup. y nearest keyword set referre d to as NKS queries on text-rich multi-dimensional datasets.
An NKS query is a set of user-provided keywords, and the result of the query may include k sets of data points each of which contains all the query keywords and forms one of the top-k tightest cluster in the multi-dimensional space. It illustrates an NKS query over a set of 2-dimensional data points. Each point is tagged with a set of keywords. For a query Q = {a, b, c}, the set of points {7, 8, 9} contains all the query keywords {a, b, c} and forms the tightest cluster compared with any other set of points covering all the query keywords. Therefore, the set {7, 8, 9} is the top-1 result for the query Q.

A KNOWLEDGE BASED ONLINE RECORD MATCHING OVER QUERY RESULTS FROM MULTIPLE WEB DATABASE
Abstract
In the Web database scenario, the records to match are highly query dependent, since they can only be obtained through online queries. Consequently, hand-coding or offline approaches are not appropriate for two reasons. First, the full data set is available beforehand, and therefore, good representative data for training are hard to obtain. Second, and most importantly, even if good representatives of a full data set may not work well on a partial and biased part of that data set. To illustrate this problem, consider a query for books of a specific author, such as “J. K. Rowling”. Depending on how the web databases process such as query, all the result records for this query may well have only “J.K. Rowling” as the value for the Author Field. In this case, The Author field of these records is ineffective for distinguishing the records that should be matched and those that should not. To reduce the influence of such fields in determining which records should match, their weighting of other fields or even is zero. The two classifiers can benefit from each other by talking advantage of duplicate vectors identified by the other classifier.UDD has advantage that it does not require any pre labelled training examples ,which relieves the burden on user having to providing such examples and makes UDD applicable for online record matching in the Web database.

ACO ALGORITHM – SOLUTION OF MULTICONSTRAINED MULTICASTING QoS
Abstract
For the search of the optimal path and the establishment of the multicast tree which meets QoS constraints in multicast routing, an improved ant colony Algorithm is proposed in the project. In the searching process, two group ants carry out searching separately and alternate information after one search. After a period of time, the rotary table is adapted to choosing a path and avoids stagnation, and the optimal one is selected from the two paths by combining with multi-constrained QoS. At the same time, in the choice of the next node, the probability of previous search on the path is introduced to speed up the search. Experiments show that the algorithm has a better performance than the other routing algorithm and establish the multicast tree quickly.

CLUSTER SYSTEM FOR MANET USING CERTIFICATION REVOCATION PROCESS
Abstract
Mobile Ad Hoc Network is a collection of communication devices or nodes that wish to communicate without any fixed infrastructure and pre-determined organization of available links. The nodes in MANET themselves are responsible for dynamically discovering other nodes to communicate. Although the ongoing trend is to adopt ad hoc networks for commercial uses due to their certain unique properties, the main challenge is the vulnerability to security attacks. Unlike the conventional network, another feature of MANETs is the open network environment where nodes can join and leave the network freely. Therefore, the wireless and dynamic natures of MANETs expose them more vulnerable to various types of security attacks than the wired networks. To meet this challenge, certificate revocation is an important integral component to secure network communications. In this paper, we focus on the issue of certificate revocation to isolate attackers from further participating in network activities. Index terms- MANET, Threshold, Certification Revocation and Clustering.

A REVIEW ON THERMOELECTRIC MATERIALS PHENOMENA, TYPES AND APPLICATION
Abstract
Thermoelectric materials have drawn vast attentions for centuries, as thermoelectric effects enable direct conversion between thermal and electrical energy. The thermoelectric effect refers to phenomena of Seebeck effect (converting temperature to current). While all materials have a nonzero thermoelectric effect, in most materials it is too small to be useful. However, high-efficiency thermoelectric (TE) materials are important for power-generation devices that are designed to convert waste heat into electrical energy. They can also be used in solid-state refrigeration devices. The conversion of waste heat into electrical energy may play an important role in our current challenge to develop alternative energy technologies to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. A commonly used thermoelectric material in such applications is Bismuth telluride (Bi2Te3).
In the present paper an overview of TE phenomena, several of currently used TE materials their properties and its applications are defined and discussed. A number of different systems of potential TE materials are currently under investigation by various research groups around the world such as quantum well TE materials, and these materials are reviewed in the article in this issue. At the end, a discussion of future possible strategies is proposed, aiming at further thermoelectric material performance enhancements.

GPS & GSM based vehicle tracking and security system using Android
Abstract
The main aim is to design a user-friendly speech system such that any person can use and operate their car to open and lock the car. An efficient automotive security system is implemented for anti-theft using an embedded system occupied with a Global Positioning System (GPS) and a Global System of Mobile (GSM). In this project we are using the speech-processing unit along with PC. The speech processor initially has to be trained with the known commands of the user. When the same are repeated these commands are compared to the stored one and accordingly generates the signal. These signals are fed to the Parallel port and to the lock. The lock is connected to the stepper motor. The client interacts through this system with vehicles and determines their current locations and status using Google Earth. The user can track the position of targeted vehicles on Google Earth. The GPS coordinates are corrected using a discrete filter. To secure the vehicle, the user of a group of users can turn off any vehicle of the fleet if any intruders try to run it by blocking the gas feeding line. This system is very safe and efficient to report emergency situations as crash reporting or engine failure. When the user gives a specific command the PC and the Lock accordingly drives the stepper motor either in clockwise or anticlockwise direction. This technique is very interactive and is very easy to operate to person to lock and close the car door.

PHENOMENON OF MAGLEV ON AUTOMOBILES
Abstract
Although the word maglev gives out the clear picture of the system used in trains for transport in countries like japan and so on. Which is a tremendous success making them to be safest & fastest trains reaching up to 500 km\hr. It is considered to be more efficient than the conventional trains since the total load carried by the train do not affect its speed since the train is not in direct contact with its rail, thanks to the basic phenomenon of magnetic repulsion. In today’s world situation wherein majority of intercity or interstate transportation of goods takes place via land transport system ,for example transportation of large raw materials such as heavy metals, and other over -weight things during this process the trucks carrying these things emit a lot of pollutions ,and are much difficult to control there by severe pressure is taken up by the engine and structure as well ,hence If this same simple yet effective principle is applied to the automobiles such as trucks ,large vehicles etc. ,it would result in exceptional results such as fuel efficiency , lesser pollution's and good time management making it a win-win situation for both us and the environment.

FLOODING TIME SYNCHRONIZATION PROTOCOL IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK
Abstract
The accurate and efficient operation of many applications and protocols in wireless sensor networks require synchronized notion of time. To achieve network-wide time synchronization, a common strategy is to flood current time information of a reference node into the network, which is utilized by the de facto time-synchronization protocol Flooding Time-Synchronization Protocol (FTSP). In FTSP, the propagation speed of the flood is slow because each node waits for a given period of time to propagate its time information about the reference node. It has been shown that slow-flooding decreases the synchronization accuracy and scalability of FTSP drastically. Alternatively, rapid-flooding approach is proposed in the literature, which allows nodes to propagate time information as quickly as possible. However, rapid flooding is difficult and has several drawbacks in wireless sensor networks. In this paper, our aim is to reduce the undesired effect of slow flooding on the synchronization accuracy without changing the propagation speed of the flood, our main contribution is to show that the synchronization accuracy and scalability of slow-flooding can drastically be improved by employing a clock speed agreement algorithm among the sensor nodes.

PERFORMANCE OF DIGITALIZED SECURE SYSTEM IN VARIOUS NETWORK TOPOLOGIES
Abstract
The issues which are related to share information in a distributed system represent a secure transmission of data. The issues consist of self-directed entity which is transferred securely in a multi subdivided system. The data which is transferred in different topologies are signed with the digital signature. The signed data is securely transferred in network using different kinds of topologies. While transferring data in a network there may be leakage of data, to overcome this leakage of data we propose digital signature concept. When the data is transferred to the network from user, the intermediate persons cannot view the data because while transferring the data it is partially viewable with help of partial disclosure technique. The data which is transferred is secure and it is verified by the network whether the given data and the received data are same.

A Hadoop Image Processing Interface for Large Scale Image Processing using Map Reduce Technique
Abstract
Due to the increasing popularity of cheap digital photography equipment, personal computing devices with easy to use cameras, and an overall improvement of image capture technology with regard to quality, the amount of data generated by people each day shows trends of growing faster than the processing capabilities of single devices. It becomes computationally inefficient to analyze such huge data. The amount of
raw data available has been increasing at an exponential rate. For the effective handling of such massive data, the
use of MapReduce framework has been widely came into
focus. Over the last few years, MapReduce has emerged as the most popular computing paradigm for parallel, batch-style and analysis of large amount of data. In this paper, we are going to work around MapReduce, its advantages, disadvantages and how it can be used in integration with other technology.

Personalized Aspect based Recommender System in Social Networks
Abstract
The social network in current age populates opinion on various products, services, persons through ratings and reviews. Unlike ratings, the reviews can help users to elaborate their opinion and share the extent of consumption experience in various aspects. Though some of the existing recommendation systems have been using the user reviews, the interpretability of the models were erroneous. The aspect based sentiments exploited with qualitative model can lead to the qualitative recommendations. This paper proposed a modeled that exploits the correlation among aspects in review using deep neural network. It formulates the preference of users’ on aspect category as a bipartite relation, represents it as a location-aspect category bipartite graph, and models the explainable recommendation with the notion of ordered dense subgraph extraction using bipartite core-based and ranking-based approaches, and it evaluates the generated recommendation with three datasets.
