Strengthen the Bituminous Road by Using Dimensioned Stone Waste
Abstract
Abstract— Humankind has always exploited the natural resources to fulfill its basic needs. The development of country is directly related to the road network of the country as we know India is in its developing stage. Road construction required raw material i.e. Bitumen, Aggregate, Earth etc. These materials are natural resources which increase the consumption which makes the depletion of natural resources. Due to depletion of natural resources make human switch to alternative material available for construction construction. Kota Stone and Marble are fine grained variety of dimension stone mined in and around Kota and Kishangarh.
In recent years, studies have claimed the waste material from dimension stone can be used into pavement district respectively. After mining, stone under goes finishing operation such as cutting, sawing and polishing. Each operation is accomplished with generation of non-biodegradable material stone waste.
This study mainly focus on using Kota stone, Marble stone waste as a form of aggregate and Marble dust as a filler material at 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 % of replacement to natural material in various layer of Flexible Pavement. Flexible pavement layer consider for this study are Granular Sub-Base (GSB) grade I & II having coarse and fine aggregate in different proposition. Replacements of natural aggregate with Dimensioned stone waste in these layers are examined on parameter like Proctor test, CBR test. Engineering properties of Kota stone and marble stone waste are compared to natural material as per MoR&TH recommended test procedure.
Index Terms—CBR Test, Proctor Test, GSB, Kota stone, marble pavement etc.

study of strength development of high calcium fly ash based Geo-polymer concrete by using M-sand as fine aggregate
Abstract
Ordinary Portland Cement is a major construction material worldwide. Cement manufacturing industry is one of the carbon dioxide emitting sources besides deforestation and burning of fossil fuels. The global warming is caused by the emission of greenhouse gases, such as CO2, to the atmosphere. The CO2 contributes about 65% of global warming. The Cement industry contributes globally about 5-7% of greenhouse gas emission to the earth’s atmosphere. In order to address environmental effects associated with Portland cement, there is a need to develop alternative binders to make concrete. The effort which we used is to produce more environment friendly concrete is the development of inorganic alumino-silicate polymer, called geopolymer which is synthesized from materials of geological origin or by-product materials such as fly ash that are rich in silicon and aluminum. In this project high-calcium (Class C) fly ash from Neyveli Thermal power plant has been used for the production of geopolymer concrete. The combination of sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide solution is used as alkaline solution for fly ash activation. The concentration of sodium hydroxide solution was maintained as 8M (Molarity) and also study the different properties of geopolymer concrete with replacement of manufactured sand. The curing condition of geopolymer concrete was varied as ambient curing. The compressive strength, Split Tensile Strength of the geopolymer concrete was tested at various ages such as 7, 14 and 28 days.

Garbage management system using IoT
Abstract
In India Now a days Solid waste management is one of the primary problems that is faced irrespective of the case of developed or under development states. It is seen that most of the garages across the roadside are overloaded because the waste is not collected periodically. It creates unhygienic condition for the people and creates bad odour around the surroundings. Due to this it gives birth to some deadly diseases and causes human illness. Most of the time wet and dry wastes are not separately collected so that proper processing like composting, recycling, incineration cannot be applied to different kinds of waste.
This system will help us in garbage management which will results in garbage processing .This systems consist of ultrasonic sensor, infrared sensor for detecting the level of waste, Arduino UNO, microcontroller, Raspberry Pi2 as controlling boards.
This system is comprised of ultrasonic sensors to sense the level of garbage in the bin, flame sensor to detect the fire and moisture sensor to separate out wet and dry garbage. By using global system for mobile (GSM) the concerned persons shall be informed through SMS. The status of waste bins can be monitored and this data is transmitted and processed by fast Raspberry Pi3

seismic behaviour of high rise structures under the various location of shearwall using etabs
Abstract
The past few years have witnessed a boom in the construction scenario in
Pondicherry. The paucity of land in our state necessitates the construction of multi-
storied complexes to cater to the increasing housing apartments and commercial
needs of society. The present project aims to check and compare the dynamic
response of multi-storied building for different location of shear wall, so that one
can choose the best alternative for construction in earthquake-prone area. Shear wall
is a structural element used to resist horizontal forces parallel to the plane of the
wall. Shear wall has highly in plane stiffness and strength which can be used to
simultaneously resist large horizontal loads and support gravity loads. Shear Walls
are specially designed structural walls include in the buildings to resist horizontal
forces that are induces in the plane of the wall due to wind, earthquake and other
forces. They are mainly flexural members and usually provided in high rise
buildings to avoid the total collapse of the high rise buildings under seismic forces.
In this project, study of G+ 12 storey’s building in zone II is presented with some
investigation which is analyzed by changing various location of shear wall for
determining parameters like storey drift, storey shear, storey displacement, base
shear, Time periods is done by using standard package E-TAB. Creation of 3D
building model for both linear static and linear dynamic method of analysis.
Limit state designs which conforms to the Indian Standard code of practice is
the design method that is used by the E-TAB software. The structure modeled in
E-TAB is subjected to Dead load, super dead, live load, wind load, and Earthquake
load of the structure. The wind load values at different heights varies and it is given
in conformation with specification of Is 875 (part-3).
The building will be modeled and designed depending on the specifications
given in the IS code. Complicated and high rise structures need very time taking and
cumbersome calculations using conventional manual methods. E-TAB provides
fast, efficient, easy to use and accurate platform for analyzing and designing
structures subjected to both gravity and lateral loading.

A Study of Tribo- layer in dry Sliding of Al Si alloy
Abstract
In this paper we are studying a tribo layer in dry Sliding of Al Si alloy. Al-Si alloys are widely used in cast form in critical components in automobile application like pistons, valve lifters, cylinder liners, engine blocks, etc due to their high strength to weight ratio, excellent casting characteristics, good mechanical property including wear resistance low coefficient of thermal expansion, high thermal conductivity and high corrosion resistance. are generally utilized in cast structure in basic segments in car application like cylinders, valve lifters, barrel liners, motor squares, and so on because of their high solidarity to weight proportion, fantastic throwing qualities, great mechanical property including wear opposition low coefficient of warm development, high warm conductivity and high erosion obstruction. The formation of tribo layer has commonly been observed in dry sliding of Al Si alloys or generally in most sliding surface, although they may not have been termed as tribo- layer. In their investigation of dreary, rash and nonstop sliding contact of different metallic sets, described the microstructure of surface and subsurface area dependent on the minuscule and spectroscopic proof. In which three unmistakable zones were distinguished and the highest layer was named as tribo-layer by a different specialist.

A Design for Increasing Power Using a Solar Tower Unit
Abstract
In this work, power generation enhancement for a 2.00 meter height Hexagonal base solar chimney with a 6 double faced trapezium sides is introduced. Amount of energy acquired to rotate the generating part of the solar tower (Direct current fan on the exit) depends on the air flow which will increase with the temperature rise that is affected by the solar heat up of the double faced sides. Analysis and comparison based on taking different temperature readings in 3 cases for the stagnant fluid filling the gap of the double faced solar tower sides (air, vacuum and helium) to see the best case where the highest air temperature is reached and consequently having the highest generated power.
In addition to that, a Savonius air turbine is to be fitted on the top of the tower to get more power from the unit in dark time using the wind energy which is a continuous source not relying on solar energy.
Commercial power generation is not expected to be acquired from this model as it is made for the purpose of analysis that would provide useful conclusion that can be used in enhancement of the commercial model performance.
Key words—Solar chimney tower, Direct current generator, Savonius turbine with Direct current generator, Temperature rise analysis, Savonius wind turbine generated power , Daily temperature variance and daily wind speed variance.

Making Attendance Management Easy with Haar Cascade Approach
Abstract
Facial recognition technology (FRT) has a major solution to address many contemporary needs for identification and the verification of identity claims. The research is growing towards the invention of new approaches. One of the most attracted application is face recognition using image processing. There are several innovative technologies have been developed to take attendance. Some advanced ones are biometric, thumb impressions, access card, and fingerprints. The method proposed in this paper is to record the attendance through image using face detection and face recognition. The proposed approach has been implemented in four steps such as face detection, labelling the detected faces, training a classifier based on labelled dataset, and face recognition. The database has been structured with the positive images and negative images. The complete database has been divided into training and testing set and further, processed by a classifier to recognize the faces in a classroom. The final step is to take the attendance using face recognition technique in which the input image of a classroom is given, and faces of the given image will be detected along with their IDs. The frames of a video taken for a minute is taken into consideration to avoid the missed ones due to rotational issues.

Electric Power Quality Meaurement
Abstract
The term power quality means maintaining sinusoidal wave of voltage at rated frequency without distortion. The prime objective is to transmit uninterrupted wave of voltage. This distortion is caused by the changing behavior of electric loads which causes changes in their waveforms even, these loads are called as non-linear loads. It also causes nonlinearities in the form of voltage sags, flickers, fluctuation, voltage dips. So these distortions adversely affect the current nature in the circuit. Usually it is also used to level up the quality of power than power provided by electric boards. In this we will study briefly the cases and also give adequate solutions obtained after a brief study on power measurement.
