Abstract :

Quality of the supply plays very important role in industrial power distribution system. The increased use of powers converters, VFD’s, switching operations and nonlinear loads in industry causes the distortion in the power system current and voltage waveforms. This distortion in waveforms (harmonics) is considered to be most significant reason for power quality problems. This paper discuss about analysis of power quality parameters in industrial power distribution system used to minimize the power quality problems.
