Abstract :

The main objective is to design a Positioning-cum-tracking system to locate the object location in a small coverage area using Wifi and to reduce intersymbol interference (ISI). Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO), facilitate more number of user to access the network simultaneously. This project can be implemented in a car industry or multi-story parking area to find the location of the car. If the signal or data is not received by the receiver then the object is found theft. During signal transmission the intersymbol interference will be higher. Thus Peak to average power ratio is the major drawback in multicarrier modulation technique. In order to reduce peak to average power ratio problem the algorithm used is Cyclic Shifting Selective Level Mapping (SLM).This method is preferred as it produces low distortion.
