Abstract :

Transportation is necessary to travel from one place to another to all human in their day to day life in any one of the mode. Most of the people are dependent to general transport system for their travel. In this view Indian railways fully severed their service to people in major percentages comparatively with other transportation system with safety. The suitable system of railway is identified here to public services and the same time to ensure their security from new design.This project reveals about a new system for the crack and obstacle detection in the railway tracks. Multipurpose Unmanned Rail vehicle system consists of a microcontroller that is responsible for the control of all unmanned actions. This system is used to detect cracks and obstacles present in the railway track and avoid collision with train in the same track. The vehicle can be powered by the lead acid battery and can be recharged by means of solar panel installed in the vehicle. This system is proposed so as to reduce the accidents occurring in Indian transportation.
